Basic Console Commands

The following are some basic console commands which will make your life in Skyrim downright easier.

How to use the console commands

Step 1 : Open console using ~ (tilde) button located to the left of 1 on your keyboard

 

Step 2 : Type in the following command player.additem XXXXXXXX "#"  where XXXXXXXX is the item code and "#" is the amount or quantity. 

eg: player.additem 0000000f 1000 this command will add 1000 gold to your inventory

Et voila! That's it!

CODE	EFFECT
tgm	Toggles God mode making you invincible (Infinite health, magika, stamina)
tcl	Toggle Collision (Walk through walls, into the sky, underground)
(Click on a door, or chest, then type) unlock	Unlocks any lock
psb	Unlocks all spells, shouts and powers
player.advlevel	Forces a level up (without perk points)
caqs	Complete all quest stages
player.additem 0000000f 1000	Adds 1000 gold to inventory (Beware, insanely high amounts may crash the game. A couple million gold is more than enough to get by in Skyrim)
player.additem 0000000a 100	Adds 100 lockpicks to inventory (never run out of lockpicks again)
player.modav carryweight 100	Increase carrying capacity by 100
player.modav healthpoints 100	Increase health by 100
player.modav magic 100	Increase magika by 100
kill	Kills the selected NPC in an instant
